There has been plenty of opposition to the Ancient Astronaut theory that was first made popular by Erich Von Daniken. His book Chariots of the Gods was among the first books to discover and document oddities that could only have been created by advanced civilizations. But do we have actual proof? Are there archeological finds that can make a solid case for aliens in our history? Let’s look at a few findings of such evidence. 

Over 2000 years ago, the Antikythera device was created. It was discovered by divers in 1900. The complexity of this device was compared to a Swiss watch. Antikythera can be used as both an astrological and astronomy device. People living at the time when it was found believed the knowledge needed to create such a device did not exist during that time. 

Another such phenomenon is the Carnac Stones in Carnac, France, where thousands of megalithic stones of various sizes and weights are standing upright. No one knows who erected these 50-to-350-ton stones? The stones are arranged in geometric patterns you can see from the sky. The distance between the stones is an exact 2,860 meters apart and there are over 3,000 of them still standing. Created sometime between 4500 BC and 2500 BC, which would be around the end of the Stone Age. The perfect alignment of the stones was seemingly an impossible feat at the time of their creation. Did they have help from the Ancient Astronauts?

A detailed map that conflicts with our history timeline and our technological ability was discovered. The Piri Reis map depicts Antarctica with such precision, it had to have been drawn from an aerial view without the ice cover it has today. The map shows mountains, rivers and a shoreline of land that wouldn’t be discovered for over 100 years. How was this map created? 

And this is a controversial one, the evolution of man from monkey. Folks, I have to say this… it’s only a theory, and there is no direct link between humans and monkeys. Sometime around 3000 BC, human advance took a leap into the Megalithic era and according to ancient texts, humans were given great knowledge by Gods. Could those Gods they write about be the Ancient Astronauts who manipulated man physically and mentally? Or did they mess with God’s creation.

In my opinion, there is an abundance of evidence proving aliens have been among us for many thousands of years. Yet history leaves out substantial proof, and much has been lost. Was that loss purposeful to blur the truth? There’s not much difference to what’s happening now with our history being taken down because it “offends” the current political agenda. History keeps proving that hiding the truth has been a common practice. But why would they hide our Ancient Astronauts?
