How Many Alien Species Are Out There?
Aliens continue to be a fascinating subject; probably because of all the denials from the government contrasting stories from many who say they’ve been abducted. And, Area 51 doesn’t help either. Of course, imagination has created so many different species, from the Romulans, Klingons, Borg and Vulcans from Star Trek, to the Sand People, Wookies, Gamorreans and Ewoks from Star Wars, to the Annelids, Orthopterous Exomorphs and Idikiukups from Men In Black. The question is, how many actual species are there, based on first-hand encounters?
We can safely say the Grays are the most famous of all aliens. They were significantly etched into our memory, for those of us who remember the Betty and Barney Hill abduction in New Hampshire from September 19-20, 1961. They drew the first pictures of the Grays I had ever seen. Strangely, they looked familiar to me, as well as to thousands of others. But they are just the beginning of the known species that have been accounted for.
The common Grays are known as the Zeta Reticuli and are the abductors. Then, of course, there are the Little Green Men, the species nightmares are made of.
The Nordic Aliens who walk among us look just like humans. Both males and females have long blonde hair and blue eyes.
The Pleiadian aliens are the most loving, peaceful-natured aliens. I could go on with many other species. However, one of my good friends and a fellow author, Craig Campobasso, has written a book about the several alien species known so far. The Extraterrestrial Species Almanac is an excellent guide, from the Grays to the Reptilians and more. If you are interested in becoming better educated regarding aliens, the many species, and where they came from, I highly recommend it.

It would be interesting to know if any of you have seen an alien of any species. Drop us a line on this blog, we’d love to know!
